This idea is preferable to the status quo.

Any type of public restrooms would be a huge asset to the community!

Someone needs to block @hyder ali as it is spam and appears to potentially be from overseas. This is not safe and you should alert your virus protection IT staff at the city just in case.

The spam goes back even further. Five months ago had a asimseo seo making similar comments as this recent Hyder person. It's almost as if no one from the city are reading these comments to even notice :/ Have a nice day Nichole :)

thanks for mentioning the spam Nichole, and I agree Jessica, you'd think nobody was reading this feed. I think they need to open the meetings to the public, or just hold meetings until they can open them to the public. There hasn't been anything so "essential" on any agenda - oh, well, maybe weed abatement (ever notice how many city properties are on that list?)

Jesica and Juanita,

I sent in a note to let them know to have their IT look into it. It does seem as if they have forgotten this section of Engaged Chico even exists.

Thank you Nichole, I did make a post commenting about the spamming and it going unnoticed recently about it too, but like this forum it went unnoticed.

It's like the forgotten zone! I definitely agree with Juanita in wanting to have our voices be heard in person. Hope you ladies had a nice Mother's Day, and hope to see us all back to real meetings as soon as we can!

The fact that no one from the city has YET to notice these spam comments says everything. None of these comments are checked or noticed by the city! What good is this even for? Just somewhere else besides council emails that concerns can be directed to? Smh What a big bummer.

I got a notice from my phone virus that my info had been sent to dark web. I guess the Head of IT who said he doesn't know audio/visual at last meeting so still no clue how to manage public input IN PERSON OR ON PHONE LIVE doesn't keep virus app updated.

Potato.Onion.Coconut.Banana. These are code words a friend and I would use to test if anyone was paying attention in peer review documents or to use instead of cursing. Right now I am using it for both reasons!!! CITY OF CHICO...are you awake? Serious spamming happening and nobody is at the wheel! You have people inputting real ideas that are getting buried in spam! Did you throw up a platform without instructing city staffers how to use/monitor it? Come on please and block @M Shahid and all the others!

I have reported these spam comments, complained on here and on my personal Facebook page and still- no one notices the spam OR our comments. This entire platform is meaningless. It was supposed to be a place for ideas that the city would see and consider, but no one is monitoring the page at all. It's super frustrating. Hopefully we find some other ways of collaboration and figuring out ways to solve common concerns. Stay safe out there :)
